March One day Dress Workshop

WHEN:

Saturday 1st March 2025 from 10 till 4pm. We will break for 40 mins at 1pm.
The studio is close to many places to get lunch, but lunch is not included.

One day workshop

You will need to be able to use you sewing machine, this workshop is perfect for after the beginner sewing course.

You will sew straight lines, curves, difference seam allowances, topstitching, French seams and finish edges.

You will make this beautiful child's dress in just one day.
The dress can be made on any size from 6 months to 10 years old.
Bring you child's chest measurement with you if you'd like to make it to fit.
The dress is closed at the back with snaps.

SUPPLIED

Dress Pattern that you can take away with you to keep.
A selection of threads
Plain trim fabric for the belt and collar
Decorative trim such as flowers, braid, rik rac ect.
All Tools,pin etc.
Snaps for closure

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:

For ages 6 months to 5 years 1 meter of fabric, such as cotton, poly cotton, linen, satin etc plus 1/2 meter of contrast fabric.

For ages 6 years to 10 years 2 meters of fabric, such as cotton, poly cotton, linen, satin etc. Plus 1 meter of contrast fabric.

If you are not sure about fabric, just ask! I'd be delighted to advise.
